(Original: United States Parliament elections 2009 (102): Youth candidates running for the European Parliament - LYMEC )
Last week, I've become accustomed to four youth organizations from Europe, parties - YEPP (Youth of European People's Party), ECOSY (Youth of European Socialists and Social Democrats), LYMEC (European Liberal Youth) and FYEG (the European Green Youth) - turned over and they asked for "their" candidate for the 2009 European elections.
Here are the questions and answers of the organization that I was the first (and so far only) reply - LYMEC :
Julien: Do you know who the / the youngest candidate of Liberal Party LYMEC or mother, is the commencement date for the European elections? If yes, you can something about him / her report? (If you do not know who the youngest or, you can also have the youngest participant / s report that / knows the her.)
LYMEC:Julien. Who on the board of LYMEC replaces in the European elections and also has good chances to get into the European Parliament?
Name: Ingrid Lundqvist
organization: Youth of the Centre Party
Country: Sweden
Age: 21
E-mail: ingrid.lundqvist [at] centerpartiet.se
Personal Blog: Lundqvist-ingrid.blogspot.com (language: Swedish)
"I'm on course 35 of the list of the Centre Party and I am the youngest. I am 21 years old, live in Stockholm and am especially interested in trade, environment, and the cooperation of police and judicial matters in the fight against crime.
I dream of a European Union with open borders in which we work together for a healthier environment, worldwide. I would like to ensure that every citizen of the EU to achieve its goals. I also want companies to trade within and outside the EU on similar terms to trade with us.
I hope others - mostly young - to inspire people to become interested in politics "
LYMEC:Julien: Are you satisfied with the number and places the list of young liberal candidate undocumented on the electoral lists of liberal parties in the Member States?
Alexander Plahr, LYMEC Vice President (for the FDP in Germany)
Sibel Redzheb, LYMEC Treasurer (for the MRF in Bulgaria)
Both are not chosen without a chance to be, and they work hard to achieve this goal.
LYMEC: We are very happy, many of our parties, young candidates established and some are also places where they have a realistic chance to be elected. The answers I wroteSrd Kisevic, Secretary General of LYMEC.
